OUR SERVICES
Screening and Assessment/Referral
Screening and assessment can be offered on site (workplace) or at our centre. All patients referred to SAPTA, comprehensive assessment (2 assessments) using clinically approved standardized tools. The results of these assessments provide us with an accurate picture of the extent and progression of the problem. Once we determine this, we discuss with the patient and family/employer the recommended level of treatment and referral where necessary that will hopefully return the user to a drug and/or alcohol free lifestyle. Assessment is critical part of pretreatment. We also provide drug testing options for workplace guided by the available ADA workplace policy.

Research of all types supports the fact that family therapy and support significantly improves the recovery process.

Relapse behaviours emerge long before the person takes the first uses the substance, it is essential that someone in recovery attends a relapse prevention program. The program focuses on, establishing healthy boundaries, assisting with development of refusal skills, conflict resolution, effective decision making techniques, healthy choice and dealing with urges or craving
Clinical Reports
